This position is located in Camrose, Alberta.    

The Department of Science at the University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus invites applications for a term instructor position in Computing Science. This position involves responsibility for the teaching of one lecture course and its corresponding laboratory in the 2019 Winter term. The course is listed as AUCSC 380 Operating Systems Concepts, and serves as an introduction to operating systems concepts and designs.

For the 2019 Winter semester, the lectures will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm, the lab will be offered on Fridays, 3:15pm-4:45pm, and they will cover an 11-week term (January 28th to April 16th,  2019).

The successful candidate will be expected to hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Computing Science, or a related field and will preferably have recent experience in university teaching at the undergraduate level.

This position is in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) Agreement, and has an appointment from January 1 to April 30, 2019.
