The Faculty of Education Clinic at the University of Alberta welcomes applications for the position of Clinical Supervisor. The mandate of the Clinic is to support professional development and research by providing graduate students with quality training experience in the areas of psychological assessment, counselling, and literacy remediation. The Education Clinic at the University of Alberta is committed to serving the community at large through the provision of lower cost services to the general public.

Reporting to the Chair, Department of Educational Psychology, the Clinical Supervisor is a Registered Psychologist who is on-site to provide consultation, crisis response services, supervision, and support at all times to students who are providing services to clients. In addition, the Clinical Supervisor coordinates external practicum placements and supervisors, coordinates the pre-doctoral internship program, and provides administrative support to the Clinic. Finally the Clinical Supervisor helps to support the collection of data for accreditation purposes.

We are seeking applicants who possess a doctoral degree in Psychology with specialization in working with children, adolescents, and families in schools and clinical sites. Applicants must be Registered Psychologists, in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and have a minimum of five years work experience post-registration. Candidates must have extensive practical clinical experience in a hospital, community, private practice or school setting and experience in the provision of training and supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in the administration and interpretation of psychological instruments and the writing of psychological reports. Competency in the administration and interpretation of psychological assessments as well as intervention activities with children and/or adolescents is preferred.

In accordance with the Administrative and Professional Officer Agreement, this full-time continuing position offers a comprehensive benefits package found at www.hrs.ualberta.ca and an annual salary range of $70,667 - $117,771, effective July 1, 2017.
